Please allow about 2 weeks for your handcrafted board to ship. Custom sized boards or large quantity orders may take longer. Your board will be shipped by Fedex Ground and we will send you a tracking number when it ships - you can also request text updates in the checkout process.

Our cork panels are 1/2\" thick. We use a premium self-healing cork to make sure you will never see a hole in your board after repeated use. Glue only the bottom of the corks onto the lid and not to each other. This allows squeezing a few corks into larger gaps. To fill really large gaps shave a cork to fit using a very sharp knife (or a utility knife).

Before you begin, you'll need to decide how big you want your bulletin board to be and take measurements, making sure to allow space for your bulletin board frame to go around the edges.

Once you're ready to make cuts, mark the front side of your cork tiles. Using a straight edge (metal is best), run your utility knife down the side of your straight edge repeatedly to score the cork. Each time you run your utility knife down the line, your cut will get deeper.

Grab a cork tile and spray the back side (paper side) with spray adhesive then immediately spray the section of the underlayment it will attach to. Be sure to focus on the corners and edges of your cork tile.

Ha! The last time I was buying fabrics it was for costumes for Burning Man and wow did that open a can of worms at the cutting table! Try explaining a fully functioning city in the middle of the desert of 50,000 people that is participant fueled without any monetary exchange that celebrates art, freedom of expression and music that lasts for a week then disappears. This was the first DIY project I have ever done from an internet blog and it worked WONDERFULLY! I had an ugly spray painted pink bulletin board and finally decided enough was enough. I did fib to the ladies at Hancock and told them I was making a pillow. But I also made some sparkly thumbtacks and used pushpins for the boarder too! My fingers STILL hurt

First wanted to tell you your site is so refreshing and i love it!! and I wanted to do this since I saw it while ago.I already had cover my cork board for my son but I use ribbons for the edges and I like the idea of the thumbtacks, soooogirlll I I just finished it,now for my daughter and my thumbs are hurting!!!! let me tell you I started like your idea but it was only me and my daughter (she did like 3 or 4 and quit)so I spaced it out like a inch and really looks very good with the fabric that my dtr picked.Thank you for the inspiration!!!
